Why A Work-At-Home Strategy Is Worth Another Look

I’m both pleased and proud to announce that we are expanding our Work-At-Home program in Canada. As the business journal Nearshore Americas recently reported, the Work-At-Home business model is going through a strong revival – especially in Canada and the US. I believe that there are several important reasons why this is taking place, but the most important three are:

1. Training is now easier; it’s far easier to train your team remotely now that streaming and live video calls are commonplace. In some cases you can get new hires up to speed and operational without them ever needing to spend time at the head office.

2. Security is dramatically better; the security systems used by Work-At-Home agents today are in many ways even more secure than the processes and technologies used in many modern offices. You can still be confident your data is secure, even with a distributed workforce.

3. You can access the best talent; as the customer experience process becomes more and more important, it’s even more important than ever to access people who do a great job representing your brand. Why limit your hiring to those who live within commuting distance of your office? Expand your horizons and try building the team with Work-At-Home agents.
